that seems to be the one color my pc monitor is able to display. the recent power cuts seem to have damaged it - or my graphics card has blown due to a power surge. it's been reported that Koeberg - our nuclear station is going to be offline for maintenance for about 40 days from the 10 March.

So, if my monitor needs replacing or the card does, I'm leaving it till after then. hopefully we'll have some confirmation in the next week. till then i cannot really work with pictures because they all look like they would look good hung in the castle of Nosferatu!
